Indian & Chinese Food
Nearest Indian takeaway is the Raj in Milnthorpe where you can watch your food being prepared in the open kitchen. If you want an Indian Restaurant and take away then the Cinnamon Spice in Silverdale is highly recommended. Its quite small so you are advised to book. The food here is really good and the prices very reasonable. Its not licensed but you can take your own wine. In Kendal, try the Mumbai Restaurant on Stramongate.
Fans of Chinese food have a choice of 2 establishments in Milnthorpe. The Canton Chef is both a restaurant and take away and prides itself on producing authentic dishes without monosodium glutamate. Jumbo is a traditional Chinese take away. Follow the links below to see their menus.
